Carry on Watson – Digital Marketing Internship Opportunity

At Carry On Watson, we are travellers – passionate ones who thought much could be done to inject some love and inspiration into the travel luggage and accessories market. We are starting small, but are looking to build a solid brand that reflects the wonder of travel. Innovative collaborations and partnerships will be the cornerstone of our business model along with an altruistic intention to do 'good' business. We are a start-up offering a unique product with the world at our feet.

To help take us to the next level we are looking for a passionate traveller who wants to carve out their own path and determine their own journey in the business world. This role will offer a savvy digital marketer the opportunity to be 'intrapreneurial' whilst developing a marketing program to help shape our brand and grow revenue.


Any particular fields of study or skills:

The type of person we're looking for:

  • You love the idea of collaborations and passionate about our mission to create and deliver creative travel products with a story.
  • You understand or have had experience building a digital marketing program.
  • You understand social media platforms, their metrics and platforms for engagement.
  • You understand or have had some experience on the back-end of the following – o Google Analytics o Google Web Console o Facebook Business Manager (Ad manager)
  • You understand or have had experience with SEO.
  • You understand or have had some experience creating content for a brand – whether it be Instagram posts, Facebook content, Blog content.
  • Understand the role of 'influencers' in digital marketing.
  • You are strong on the branding/creative aspects of marketing, but you're very comfortable digging into the numbers and taking a metrics driven approach to marketing.
  • You have knowledge and some general exposure to graphic design, copywriting, PR and pay-per-click marketing.
  • You're eager to get a head start and understand the exploding start-up scene.
  • Comfortable working alongside the Founder of the company.
